Saturday the 12th we went to La Caille for Matt's work dinner. Melissa and THE were kind enough to watch Amy for us. We brought Noel because she didn't do so well at the bottle a couple nights before. As it turned out, I was so glad we brought her. She was delightful to have with us. One of only two babies there, she got a lot of attention. In fact as we were walking to where our van was pulled up (valet parking) past all the other people standing in line for their vehicles, someone said, "Bye-bye Noel." She was a celebrity. It was awesome. And she was amazing. She slept on the way there and on the way back and not at all while we were there. Just smiled for people. In her adorable Christmas dress.
The restaurant itself was fancy and yummy food. We got to try fancy drinks that normally have alcohol but didn't for most of the people there. And we sat at a table with friendly and nice people. Even though fancy is lost on Matt and me, we had a good time anyway. Yummy food and pleasant conversation on not lost on us. We even won this prize that I'm not sure if we'll use. It takes negatives of pictures and makes them digital. Let us know if you have use for such a thing, and we'll let you borrow it. Fun time.
